Our artisans

Behind every ZliZ piece, there is a pair of hands. Family workshops nestled in the medinas of Marrakech and Tamegroute, where gestures that no machine can ever reproduce are passed down from generation to generation.

Direct work, without intermediaries

We personally meet each of the artisans with whom we collaborate. We visit their workshop, we discuss materials, finishes, and deadlines. This direct relationship allows us to guarantee fair remuneration, respectful working conditions, and above all, the impeccable quality that is ZliZ's signature.

Exceptional expertise

Raffia and dwarf palm weaving, cotton weaving on traditional looms, raw leather and wool thread work, raw wood carving, Berber basketry, main embroidery: each skill we showcase is the fruit of years - sometimes generations - of learning and patience.

The long time of craftsmanship

Our artisans do not work on an assembly line. A piece can take several days of work, sometimes more. We fully embrace this: it is this chosen slowness that makes the difference between a mass-produced object and a created object. You are not receiving a standardized product - you are receiving the culmination of a gesture.

Support, transmit, perpetuate

Each ZliZ order contributes to keeping alive rare crafts, threatened by industrialization. By purchasing a ZliZ creation, you participate in the transmission of these skills to future generations.
